This project is one of two concepts for a BBQ fundraiser I did for the Sanctuary House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of adults living with mental illness.
They choose to go with this concept because it fell in line with their old timey, rustic theme.
J.A. King is a third generation family business founded in 1939 in Greensboro, NC. They specialize in scale services, industrial measurement, calibration, repair, and metrology services.
J.A. King is all about being modern and cutting edge, which is reflected in their branding. This project is heavy with bold images and infographics, telling the history of the company in great detail.
Below is a branding concept I did for the Preserve at Park West, an apartment community in Spartanburg, SC. The housing community caters to a younger crowd so a clean and modern geometric look seemed appropriate.
Think Ink. It's more than a tag line, it's how they do business. A full-service production company, Ink handles everything from catering and location scouting to styling and talent casting.
I love working with Kelly and everyone over at Ink. With their solid branding, it isn't hard to create great work. I was lucky enough to help out with their print collateral and website.
I did this project for a friend in Asheville, NC. Although these particular suds never left the ground, it was still a lot of fun to work on!
Ah, the only remaining college project left in my portfolio! I did this poster for my old elementary school's version of Seussical the Musical. I really enjoyed working on the custom lettering and illustration. A real fun project!
The second of the two BBQ fundraiser concepts I did for the Sanctuary House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of adults living with mental illness.
I go graphic and simple whenever I can, so I jumped at the opportunity to give Sanctuary House such a different look for their fundraiser.
Another project for the Sanctuary House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of adults living with mental illness. Musical Moods is the Sanctuary House's big, yearly fundraising event. For their 10th anniversary we went with a film noir look on their invitations, raffle tickets and RSVP mail backs.
For this project, I worked along side the folks at Ink who provided all the excellent photography. The campaign was called "Let's Play" and included a series of ads throughout several periodicals as well as splash pages on downtowngreensboro.net.
